CCTV, access control, low voltage technician

Mega Security is a top provider of locksmith and low-voltage systems serving the Chicago area.

We provide camera, access control, intercom installation and service to many of Chicago’s residents and businesses. We are currently hiring experienced, organized, and self-motivated Security, access control, and CCTV System Installer/Technicians. We are in one of the fastest growing industries, operating in a highly entrepreneurial environment, and searching for the newest additions to our staff.

The camera system and CCTV System Installer/Technician position reports directly to the owner and manager.

Duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Minimum 2 year experience in low voltage, intercom repair and installation, CCTV and access control repair and installation.
  
• Install and configure Access Control Systems, Analog & IP CCTV Systems, DVR�s & NVR�s, Intercom systems, Telephone Entry Systems etc.
  
• Travel to customer sites in company provided vehicle throughout Chicagoland area.
  
• Diagnose and repair equipment and configurations.
  
• Professional Interactions with customer personnel developing relationships and demonstrating systems; providing training as needed.
  
• Use technical manuals and interface with manufacturer�s technical support to troubleshoot problems.
  
• estimating and invoicing in a clear detailed manor.
  

Among other requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 year experience in installing and programming Access Control, intercoms, and CCTV systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to obtain a valid PERC.

Language Skills: Must have ability to read, write speak, and understand English.

Other Qualifications: Required skills include knowledge of computer networks, switches, IP addresses, routers, and modems. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Demands: Must be able to work in outdoor environments and be comfortable working on step ladders, extension ladders, and power lifts. Ability to routinely lift, push, or pull packages of up to 60lbs.
