CBA Electronics Technical Trainer- (Commercial/Military Experience Required)
The position is responsible for Technical Training and shall prepare, schedule and conduct classroom instruction for initial and re-certification training of Government employees and other Government contractor employees requiring training in the following areas: Surface Mount Technology, Soldered Electrical Connections, Polymeric applications on Electronic Assemblies, Manufacturing of cable harnesses, to include wire crimping, splicing and stripping techniques, Manufacturing of fiber optic bundles, connectors and terminations. Must remain current as a Level B instructor in accordance with NASA STD 8739.6. Must maintain IPC instructor certification. Performs work as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) involving Electronic and RF troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, assembly, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and accessories.
Must be able to distinguish red, green, blue and yellow colors.
This activity is usually accomplished in a classroom-like environment with climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May require lifting of objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close, peripheral, and color vision, and acceptable depth perception.
May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards exist.
