Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores†because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Carriage Attendant

Part-Time Hourly - $16.00--$16.50

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

The Carriage Attendant collects shopping carriages from the parking lot and returns them to the front of the store.

Your day-to-day:

• Walk the parking lot to collect shopping carriages using… only loading the maximum number of carriages
  
• Being vigilant of moving cars and customers while proceeding through the parking lot
  
• Ensure carriages are free of trash
  
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  
• Assist in other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Entry-level position; no prior experience required

Working Conditions:
