We are a locally owned in-home care agency looking for dependable caregivers to provide support for older adults living with dementia or receiving hospice care.
This role involves one-on-one care in a private home setting. Our ideal teammate is reliable, calm under pressure, and enjoys providing detailed daily updates via digital care notes as well as regular phone check-ins about your client's wellbeing.
- 1-5 years of recent professional caregiving experience
- Dementia care experience required
- Valid driver�s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Able to pass background and reference checks
- Pay: $22-$26/hr
- Based on your experience and type of care provided
- 90-day performance-based raise reviews available
- Scheduling: Always within your provided availability
- Priority scheduling awarded by merit (consistency and openness to help)
- The more availability you have, the more shifts you'll receive
- Consistent shifts when possible
- Overnight sleep shifts are paid at regular hourly rate
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other personal care tasks
- Providing companionship
- Preparing meals and managing medications
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Running errands and driving clients (in the client�s vehicle)
- Supporting clients with memory loss, hospice needs, or other other special assistance needed
- 1:1 Care realtionships with our long term clients
- Payroll protection for client-canceled shifts under certain conditions
- Paid training provided
- Sick time, holiday pay, and PTO accruals
