THIS POSITION WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE NORRIDGE, IL AREA!!


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated experienced senior personal aides in the Norridge area to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will work closely with clients who may have various needs, including those with disabilities, memory care requirements, or senior care needs. Your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Assist with mobility and physical exercises to promote physical health.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
  • Support clients with memory care activities and engage them in social interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.


Qualifications


  • Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or caregiving is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medication administration is a plus.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is beneficial but not required.
  • MUST have a valid drivers license, own your own car with insurance
