We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether in a home health setting or a group home environment.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient compliance.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the nursing staff or family members.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on caregiving best practices and CPR techniques.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health or group home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient observation techniques is essential.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
- Ability to perform cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment for clients.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
