Our interdisciplinary approach and advanced procedures, including around 70 TAVR cases each year, set us apart in delivering superior outcomes. Details:

• Full-time: rotating schedule of days, nights and weekends
  
• Daily patient rounds on the CVICU, providing patient education, and assisting with discharge summaries
  
• Knowledge of the pharmacologic effects of vasoactive/cardiotonic drugs, ventilator care, and artificial cardiac devices
  
• Help manage the post-surgical patients under the supervision of the surgeons
  

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified
  
• Must hold either ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certifications
  
• Able to obtain IN license
  
• Experience managing patients with high acuity is preferred
  
• New grads must have CVICU experience or ICU experience as an RN
  
• Position is ICU only and is 80% days, but will work 2-3 night shifts a month. Will also work Q4 weekends.

Healthcare System/Hospital Description

The new

IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.

At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
