Cafe Clerk

The Cafe Clerk is to work with staff, team Lead, and Management of the department for set-up, preparation, assembly, sanitation and customer service

Responsibilities and Working Conditions:

• Basic food prep, assemble and check components of hot & cold foods.
  

• Care & Organization of Storage area, materials & rotation of product.
  

• Set up & breakdown of workstations, care for production equipment & tools.
  

• Able to use scales with weights & measures, identify quality issues and alert Team Lead or Supervisor.
  

• Ability to read and understand required components of recipes, ability to follow specific instructions and procedures as required by each recipe.
  

• Knowledge of FIFO, inventory, and labeling.
  

• Identify quality issues and alert Team Lead or Supervisor.
  

• Serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  

• Ensures compliance with company standards, policies and financial transaction procedures.
  

• Assures compliance with all sanitation, GMPs and safety policies and procedures.
  

• Ability to understand interdepartmental communication.
  

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  

• In a workday: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more
  

• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
  

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  

• Ability to work in other areas of the business as needed
  

• Read English.
  

• Able to stand 6-10 hours hours a day.
  

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  

• Follow directions quickly & precisely.
  

• Perform multiple tasks.
  

• Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
  

• Assist other employees when possible.
  

• Assist in opening & closing procedures.
  

• Apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation.
  

• Reports all issues that occur daily to the appropriate Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
  

• Follow security, safety and GMP regulations and ensure correct follow up on all regulations.
  

• Must have excellent listening skills.
  

• Good verbal communication skills.
  

• Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  

Note: The hourly range for this role is from $16.50
