CAD Designer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our indoor construction division. In this role, you will create custom designs for indoor ceiling-suspended sports equipment, including basketball backstops, baseball batting cages, divider curtains, overhead volleyball systems, and much more. Work closely with design engineer to develop CAD models, assemblies, fabrication drawings, BOMs, standard templates and product structures. Must be proficient in the latest 3-D solid modeling software, preferably Autodesk Inventor. Must be detail oriented and possess a high level of accuracy.

• Review Architectural Drawings: Analyze gymnasium and sports facility floor plans to ensure accurate equipment integration.
  
• Custom Design Creation: Use CAD software to create detailed, custom designs for various sports equipment based on customer specifications and architectural layouts.
  
• Collaboration with Engineering Team: Work closely with the engineering department to refine designs, ensuring they meet manufacturing and structural requirements while remaining cost-effective.
  
• Manufacturing Preparation: Once the design is finalized and customer-approved, prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and generate bills of materials for production.
  
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and safety, in line with industry best practices.
  

• Proven experience in CAD design, preferably in the construction industry.
  
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.).
  
• Ability to interpret and work from architectural drawings.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  
• Experience in preparing manufacturing drawings and bills of materials is a plus.
  
• A degree or technical certification in CAD design, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
