Business Development Representative (Inside Phone Sales)

Founded in 1993, Discover Publications is a marketing company on a mission is to help our clients grow. We publish custom direct mail publications for real estate agents, helping them build their brands and generate business. Our team is small, fun-loving, and supportive!

As Business Development Representative (BDR), you’re the front line of our Sales Team, responsible for developing new relationships and clients. You’ll contact prospects to line up appointments for Account Execs and, when ready, close sales of lower-ticket products. We set you up for success with extensive training, pre-qualified leads, proven scripts/processes, a robust CRM, and ongoing support and training. All equipment, tools, and materials are provided.

While part-time you’ll work 25/hrs week on-site at our Columbus office. With demonstrated performance you can

• Contact prospects via phone and email, setting appointments and closing sales
  
• Oversee job progress for Clients you convert
  
• Maintain Client relationships, earning repeat/referral business
  
• Prepare sales materials like sample packets, letters, and presentations
  
• Attend sales meetings and trainings
  
• Log sales activities in our CRM
  
• Achieve Activity Targets and Sales Goals

Additional requirements:

• High School Diploma/equivalent (college preferred, not required)
  
• 2+ years� work experience with 1+ year Sales (any industry/role)
  
• 2 References
  
• Demonstrated leadership, athletic performance, and/or notable accomplishments
  

Applicants must also be 18 years of age or older and able to work in the US. Discover Publications complies will all applicable hiring and employment laws and regulations.

Earn a guaranteed hourly base plus generous weekly and monthly incentives.

• $20/hr during Immersion Training
  
• $15/hr plus bonuses and commission, once actively working
  
• Earn bonuses for hitting call targets, booking completed appointments, and booking appointments that result in sales
  
• Earn commission on sales you close yourself, including repeat jobs

If you possess the right qualities and apply your training you can expect to hit the targets within a month or two, earning incentives averaging $500-1,000/mo or more.

• Part-time BDRs may choose their own schedule (limits apply)
  
• After 90 days you may request full-time hours. All full-time employees are eligible for 50% health insurance reimbursement, paid time off, and paid holidays
  
• After 60 days you may request to work Remote or Partially Remote
  
• Annual Reviews with the opportunity for a base pay increase
  
• After 6 months you may apply for promotion to full-time Account Executive, a Salaried position offering higher pay and full-time benefits
