The purpose of your role as a BA Project Sales Representative


As a Building Automation Project Sales Representative (BAPSR), your primary role will be to drive revenue growth through targeted sales activities aimed at both new and existing clients. You will specialize in crafting innovative solutions for building automation projects within designated markets. Additionally, the position necessitates strong skills in managing existing customer relationships to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.


Prospecting:


  • Identify opportunities for new and existing clients.
  • Use Harris customer relationship management software to maintain an up-to-date and accurate sales pipeline.
  • Promptly follow up on leads and referrals.
  • Maintain an active backlog of quotes to ensure booking goal is consistently met.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell controls, service, and mechanical work within your region to leverage the full range of Harris capabilities.
  • Qualify opportunities and answer questions and objections proficiently and responsibly.


Develop Solutions:


  • The ability to determine scope of work and requirements of new projects by reviewing specifications, drawings, equipment, and job conditions.
  • The ability to determine scope of work and requirements of retrofit projects, including repair, modification, replacement, and/or upgrade requirements to provide customers with solutions to problems.
  • The ability to translate knowledge, experience, and solutions into proposals that will enhance the customer�s facility while reducing costs to operate, maintain, and repair systems.
  • Understand the customer�s needs, both technically and financially, and use that understanding to create customized solutions.
  • Accurately estimate sizes, distances, and quantities to determine time, costs, resources, subcontractors, and materials needed to meet the specification or custom solution.
  • Develop proposals for solutions using Harris standard operating procedure.
  • Present solutions in a professional manner that differentiates Harris.


Customer Relations:


  • Always conduct business in alignment with Harris values
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with assigned accounts, prospects, and opportunities
  • Promptly addresses customer concerns to assure resolution of problems and maintain long-term positive relationships.
  • Builds rapport and productive working relationships with customers, vendors and Harris team members


What we're looking for in you


  • Competent understanding of HVAC and Building Automation systems and how they function.

+ Associate in Applied Science (HVAC-R, Mechanical Systems, Electrical), or equivalent years of experience

+ Experience with HVAC-R, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing systems.

  • Experience with customer relationship development and maintenance.

+ Knowledge of cooperative purchasing agreements and LEED requirements to leverage sales strategies.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work in a team environment.

  • Proficient with Customer Relationship Management systems. Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Range: $62,411 - $93,616 per year.


The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
