We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a delightful breakfast experience. This position involves preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. - Prepare and set up breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, pastries, and beverages.
- Ensure the breakfast area is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service hours.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections while providing friendly and efficient service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize tables, utensils, and equipment after use to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when operating the POS system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing their dining experience.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of breakfast supplies.
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred, including roles such as server, host/host, or barista.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking, or catering is a plus.
- Must possess good knife skills for food preparation tasks.
