Oregon Branch Manager Position Summary: Manages the branch office duties of an organization. Assists with overseeing the development of new business, offices policies and procedures, and profit and loss. Keeps abreast of industry trends. Partners with executive and branch leadership team to support Capital’s culture and initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables
Identify and train management succession; provide management and executives ongoing results of progress
Recruit, train, retain, lead, coach, guide and supervise employees and managers at the branch level
Guide and monitor all aspects of product procurement, warehousing, remanufacture, sales, distribution and accounting functions through effective delegation of authority
Oversee the management of customer and product selection, credit approval and sales promotions
Utilize customer and market segment planning to manage growth in sales and profits combined with continuous improvement in working capital management and operating efficiency
Provide Capital Lumber Company management a timely understanding and interpretation of operating results and critical personnel, customer and supply issues, industry trends and forecasts and insure customer needs are being satisfied
Ensure implementation of practices and procedures necessary to provide adequate internal control within
Capital Lumber Company to safeguard its assets, achieve accuracy and reliability in the accounting and financial reporting and adherence to prescribed managerial policies
Direct the preparation of an annual business plan with the recommended capital expenditures, personnel requirements and salary and wage administration required to support the plan
Be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment
Qualifications
Education / Experience and Skills
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent education or experience
Ten years experience in wholesale lumber industry or related position and industry
Ability to achieve results that are aligned with Capital�s strategic goals
Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
Ability to delegate as necessary with strong follow-up on timeliness and quality
Demonstrated experience with developing collaborative business and employee relationships
Results focused and ability to stay focused on goals in challenging or changing environments
Strong ability to motivate and engage commitment of others and achieve business results through and with people
Ability to anticipate, analyze and prioritize and quickly solve complex problems and challenges
Ability to model the Capital values and to provide innovative solutions
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
High level of confidentially with sensitive information and professionalism
Abilities
Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday
Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
