Walsh Trucking Co. is a 65+ year old family owned company and a leader in the wood residual & waste product transportation industry for the Pacific Northwest. We are looking to add a Body Shop Tech to our growing team in Troutdale, OR. Conveniently located by the Troutdale Airport/Amazon.
Position is day shift, Tuesday-Saturday. 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Regular days off are Sunday and Monday.
- Assists with performing all work as outlines on repair orders as assigned.
- Performs tear down and put together of trucks and trailers.
- Performs dent repairs.
- Completes proper documentation on repair order of complete work.
- Operates all tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Knows, understands, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc.
- Paints trucks and trailers when needed.
- Maintains adequate tools and equipment needed for vehicle repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Previous experience working in a truck or automotive body shop is preferred
- $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience
