Blasting Driller

Grand Canyon Shooters is a company based in Northern Arizona, specializes in drilling and blasting with over 15 years of experience. We are committed to delivering accurate shots for construction projects, both large and small, and pride ourselves on our precision. We offer state-of-the-art drilling and blasting services for various projects and applications, including general construction, wind farms, large-scale developments, foundation blasting, quarries and mines, demolition, and highway projects.

This is a full-time Driller position located in Arizona. The Blasting Driller will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform drillin. Day-to-dayy tasks include conducting site inspections, preparing drilling patterns, setting up and operating drilling and blasting equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The role will require flexibility to work on various project sites as needed.

Experience with Heavy Equipment operation

• Skills in Drilling using Sandvik 700, 800, 1500i (or equivalent)
  
• Inspection skills for ensuring safety and quality
  
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in drilling or blasting preferred.
  

We require that you have:

• Driller experience or experience leading drilling teams.
  
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs in all weather conditions.
  
• Willingness to travel and work in Arizona, Colorado, and Texas (and other states where GCS may be required to work). Position is tax homed in Phoenix, Arizona.
  
• Ability to pass an FBI background check, drug and alcohol screening, and undergo Arizona, Colorado, and Texas required job safety training.
  
• Clean driving record as the candidate must be insurable to the standards of our insurance provider.

Hourly pay rate is negotiable based on experience.
