BIM Technician

Town & Country Engineering, Inc. is a trusted consulting engineering firm specializing in municipal, water, and wastewater engineering services throughout Wisconsin. With over 40 years of experience, we are committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions. We are currently seeking a full-time BIM Technician to join our Madison office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining 3D building models and 2D construction documents using industry-standard Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This role requires close collaboration with our engineering teams to support the planning and execution of municipal infrastructure projects.

• Utilize BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) to create and manage detailed 3D models and associated 2D documentation.
  
• Collaborate closely with engineers in municipal, water, and wastewater disciplines to support design and planning efforts.
  
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and industry standards.
  
• Manage project tasks from concept to completion, maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines.
  
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify design accuracy and support construction progress.
  
• Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, workflows, and trends in the AEC industry.
  

• Bachelor�s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is preferred.
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  
• High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards and building codes.
  

• Salary range: $58,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
