Biblical and Theological Studies Faculty Position


College of the Ozarks is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in Biblical and Theological


Studies at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Specific teaching assignments include the


College’s general education Christian worldview classes, as well as upper-division classes in


theology and apologetics. A master’s in theology is required; a Ph.D. in theology or apologetics is


preferred. The starting date for this position is January 2026 or August 2026.


The successful candidate must embrace the College’s Christ-centered mission and demonstrate


excellence in teaching undergraduate students. This person will exhibit a commitment to serving as


a mentor and positive role model for students, as well as a deep interest in the relationship of


theological studies and a liberal arts curriculum. College of the Ozarks is a small (1,400 students),


liberal arts, work-study college with a commitment to evangelical Christian faith and service
