Before School Leader - Wesley School Age Programs/Glenview

Wesley is Looking for energetic Before School Leaders. Programs are located in the Glenview District 34 Schools. This is a perfect position for college students majoring in education, recreation, psychology, exercise science or for teacher's associates looking to extend their workday. Leaders will work with a team to supervise children in sport, art, homework, and enrichment activities.

Zoom and in-person interviews will be available

• Before School: Mondays - Fridays 6:45 am - 8:45 am/Wednesdays 6:45-9:45 am.
  
• Your schedule is flexible and is based on your availability.
  
• Additional hours may be available to work in our After School Program
  

• Have at least a High School Diploma
  
• Must be at least 18 years old
  
• Have prior experience working with children
  
• College students majoring in Elementary or Early Childhood Education, Recreation, Child Psychology or related majors and Educators is preferred
  

• Supervise and engage children in art, sport, homework help, and Enrichment activities
  
• Assist in planning and leading activities
  
• Ensuring a safe and enjoyable and positive experience
  
• Provide support and guidance to children, be a role model
  

• Starting at $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
  
• $21.00+ per hour for candidates who have earned a bachelor's degree in EL ED, ECE, Recreation or related
  
• Pay based upon experience and education
  
• Working hours dependent on applicants' availability

Wesley Child Care Center is a non-profit, child care serving the Glenview community since 1972. Wesley Child Care offers year-round preschool, before and after school care for Glenview District 34 families, full-day summer camp and a scholarship assistance program.
