Position Overview:
FOUNDATION kitchen+bar in downtown Derry, NH is looking for an energetic, reliable, and personable Bartender/Server with a passion for hospitality to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and providing friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service.
- Engaging with patrons at the bar and at tables. Taking and delivering food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
- Writing down guests� orders and entering into POS. Handling cash and credit card payments.
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and standards.
- Staying informed about changes to cocktail, wine, beer, and food menus, and being able to make recommendations and describe various menu items.
- Stocking and setting up bar. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and service area. Performing cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors and taking out trash.
- Checking IDs and ensure responsible service of alcohol. Uphold all safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance standards.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience serving in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and a knack for anticipating and meeting guest needs.
- Thorough knowledge of various wines, beers, spirits, and food.
- Proficiency in multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with PosiTOUCH POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on engaging with customers.
