Barista/Kitchen Staff

As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our café operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service. Your contributions will help create a welcoming environment for our guests while ensuring that high-quality food is served consistently.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices.
  
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen and café areas before and after service.
  
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, ensuring all tools are cleaned and sanitized after use.
  
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
  
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with their orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
  

• Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing.
  
• Strong math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
  
• Knowledge of food handling practices to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
  
• Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with guests.
  
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques within the food industry is preferred.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  
• A team-oriented attitude with the willingness to help colleagues as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour
