The Local is a small drive through coffee shop and deli that is looking to expand services for its growing clientele. To make our services more accessible, we are opening a brick-and-mortar location with a variety of menu items to service specialty beverage needs, breakfast, lunch, and on-the-go snack packages. This café will serve as a home base to allow us to cater to businesses and events needing coffee, tea, breakfast, and lunch services for their meetings, employee, and customer appreciation events they may have. We have also added a deli and drink trailer, with a second brick and mortar in Uptown to open in the next 4 months. We are movin' and groovin' and looking to expand our crew with some amazing team mates.


We are looking for an individual that can help us to keep our current operations going while we move forward with our new location. Our goal is to create a team of individuals where everyone; loves coming to work, treats each other and the work with respect, and has a passion for creating delicious and beautiful foods. We expect our employees to have excellent customer service skills, good communication, and good work habits of timeliness and attendance. This first position we are creating will be a crucial position as the first employee as we develop and grow into our new space. There is the potential that position can grow into a lead as our team grows.


General Expectations: Work scheduled shifts, complete tasks in a timely manner, clean as you go, prepare food to 406Fresh standards with pride, maintain constant and open lines of communication, treat everyone with respect, practice good hygiene, and have a friendly and open attitude with all customers.


We are specifically looking for someone who can open the cafe and work 5:00am -1:30 PM


Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


Must be able to maintain substantial amounts of time on feet, maintain physical endurance through entire scheduled shifts, lift and carry various Store/Kiosk supplies and equipment, and flexibly work varying hours of operation.


Starting Wage:


$12.00/hour with opportunities for tips and profit sharing. Negotiable for experienced applicants.
