We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring smooth operations at the bar. This position requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with food and beverage preparation.
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
- Support food preparation tasks and assist with serving food to guests
- Handle bussing duties to ensure tables are cleared promptly
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and address any inquiries
- Assist in cash handling and ensure accurate transactions during busy shifts
- Collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable atmosphere for guests
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or bar settings, is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus
- Background in hospitality or catering services is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Nightclub or banquet experience is highly desirable
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential
