Automotive Technician

â— Mechanic will cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately. This must be done within both dealership and factory requirements.

â— The ideal technician candidate must be able to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs for them.

â— Mechanic will perform vehicle repairs within their current capability/skill level.

â— In depth examination of any vehicle under current supervision, to determine if any safety or service work is needed or recommended.

â— Clearly documents and records work that is performed on the repair order under his/her supervision.

â— Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician/ service manager.

â— Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.

â— 3-5 years experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic

â— Preferred ASE Certification

â— A valid driver's license

â— High school diploma / Industry certification equivalent required

â— Technician must have strong written and verbal communication skills

â— Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools

This position involves maintenance and repairs on light duty cars, trucks, suv's, and vans. We primarily work on Ford vehicles but also service competitive make vehicles. The service technician is responsible for doing customer pay and warranty repairs on a variety of cars and trucks in an efficient and professional manner. The service technician must be a team player that takes pride in their work and puts the needs of the customer as a top priority.
