Position Details:


  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 30 hours/week
  • Future Growth: This role may expand to include full-time hours and select Saturdays.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and assist customers in the dealership, providing a friendly and professional experience.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Facilitate the selling process, from introductions to finalizing paperwork.
  • Make outbound calls to follow up with customers, including cold calling to generate leads.
  • Maintain and update vehicle listings on the company website.
  • Respond to social media inquiries
  • Assist customers in exploring vehicle options, answering questions about features, pricing, and financing.
  • Support customers with financing inquiries; familiarity with financing processes is a plus.
  • Ensure the showroom and lot are well-maintained and organized.
  • Take high-quality photographs of inventory vehicles for online listings and marketing materials.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.


Additional Responsibilities:


Customer Financing Support:


  • Assist customers in understanding financing terms, completing credit applications, and navigating payment plans.
  • Work closely with financing partners or internal teams to finalize financing options.


Inventory Management:


  • Keep vehicle inventory list up-to-date, ensuring accurate details on condition, pricing, and availability.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory, including coordinating with service teams for vehicle readiness.


Documentation and Compliance:


  • Ensure all sales documents are completed accurately and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.


Upselling and Cross-Selling:


  • Recommend extended warranties, service contracts, or other dealership services.
  • Promote additional products like accessories, maintenance packages, or GAP insurance.


Test Drive Coordination:


  • Arrange and accompany customers on test drives, ensuring a smooth and safe experience.


Follow-Up:


  • Maintain ongoing communication with past and potential customers via email, phone, or social media.
  • Build customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.


Reporting:


  • Track and report on sales metrics, customer inquiries, and feedback to management.
  • Provide updates on inventory performance and customer interest trends.


Basic Vehicle Knowledge:


  • Be familiar with the features and specifications of the vehicles being sold to confidently answer customer questions.
  • Understand common maintenance or service requirements to address concerns about long-term ownership.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in automotive sales, customer service, or marketing is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals willing to learn.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with customer financing and lending processes is an advantage.
  • Basic photography skills to capture inventory images.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Dependability, adaptability, and a positive attitude.


Additional Qualifications:


  • Proven track record in automotive or other retail sales is a plus.
  • Ability to negotiate prices and terms effectively to close sales.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track leads and manage customer information.
  • Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is a plus
  • Experience working collaboratively with service, finance, and management team.
  • Strong attention to detail to manage multiple tasks, customer requests, and documentation accurately.

Compensation: $16/hr + commission

Home Team Auto Sales, we believe in rewarding your hard work and dedication. Our compensation structure includes:


  • Hourly Wage: A guaranteed hourly rate for all hours worked.
Flat Fee Commission: Earn commission for every vehicle sold, regardless of the sale price or gross profit. (Available after a 21-day Onboarding Period)*.
Monthly Sales Bonus: Receive an additional bonus for meeting or exceeding the monthly sales target. (Available after a 60-day Onboarding Period)*.
