We’re hiring a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver to run a daily automotive parts route. This position involves picking up parts from two local stores, meeting up with other route drivers, and delivering to body shops and wholesale customers. It’s a fast-paced, independent role that requires reliability, accuracy, and solid time management.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting around 8:30 AM
- Duties: Pick up parts from two store locations, meet the group at 9:00 AM, then run your assigned route
- Pay: Competitive hourly or route-based compensation (discussed during interview)
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and organize parts from both store locations each morning
- Meet the group driver team by 9:00 AM to begin deliveries
- Deliver parts to multiple wholesale and body shop accounts
- Handle COD deliveries (collect checks or cash), return funds the next business day
- Accurately complete a delivery log each day (shop name, invoice #, dollar amount, dealer, signature, check # if applicable)
- Coordinate with other drivers as needed to ensure efficient delivery routes
- Represent the company professionally on every stop
Requirements:
- Valid driver�s license with clean driving record
- Dependable and on time every day
- Comfortable working independently
- Organized and able to handle paperwork and COD transactions properly
Preferred but not required:
- Automotive or dealership experience
