Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems and processes
  • Lead design, and software reviews of projects to ensure project deliverables around automation systems are achieved
  • Program and troubleshoot industrial control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities
  • Project management within cost and time constrained environments
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve automation issues
  • Create and interpret schematics for automation equipment
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting help, and guidance to customers and contractors
  • Any other duties deemed necessary or appropriate


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field / or 5 years related experience
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems and technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Rockwell, and Wonderware Intouch
  • Experience with distributed control systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of automated processes
  • Proficiency in CAD software for designing electrical schematics and flow sheets
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
