AUTOCAD (CIVIL 3D) DRAFTER/TECHNICIAN (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Tampa based Land Surveying company looking for qualified Auto CAD Drafter/Technician out of our Oldsmar office. The position is an entry level or skilled Auto CAD draftsman to work with senior draftsman/engineer to sketch technical drawings, develop engineering site plans and schematics using computer-aided design software (Auto CAD Civil 3D). The primary responsibility will be to draft the data received from multiple Survey Crews for projects throughout the Southwest, West Central and Central Florida area. A minimum of 1 years’ experience with emphasis on drafting, mapping, and surveying using Auto CAD Civil 3D.

• Draft Subdivision Plats, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and other related Surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  
• Create Staking Plans for crew from Client provided CAD plans
  
• Prepare Record Drawings/Field As-Built Surveys from data collected by survey crew
  
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Crews, and Clients
  
• Build 3D Surface Models
  
• Write Legal Descriptions
  
• Residential and Commercial Surveys
  
• Metes and Bounds and Sectional Boundary Surveys
  
• ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
  
• Topographic Surveys / Full Design Surveys / Utility As-Builts ·
  
• Preparing TINs, surface models, and contours
  
• General computer skills in MS Windows environment including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  

• Land/Construction Surveying background using Auto CAD Civil 3D.
  
• Well-developed understanding of general concepts of residential/commercial survey work and AutoCAD Civil 3D
  
• Working knowledge of relevant technical software, field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations a plus
  
• Strong Knowledge and Experience using AutoCad Civil 3D
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
