Patients at OAM will have access to our Specialized Surgeons, Physical and Occupational Therapists, MRI and X-ray services, and orthopaedic bracing. Patients are also able to receive care from our Bone Health Clinic, OAM Now Urgent Orthopaedic Care Clinic, and Surgery Center at MidTowne - all of which are committed to optimizing their treatment outcomes.

As a
Clinical Athletic Trainer with OAM, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to patients with orthopaedic injuries and conditions. You will work closely with our providers, physical therapists, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate the recovery process. This position requires a deep understanding of athletic injuries, rehabilitation protocols, and therapeutic techniques.+ Obtain appropriate authorizations.
+ Follow up on studies to ensure they were scheduled and completed.
+ Ensure follow up appointments are scheduled as needed.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
+ Current BLS Certification.
+ 1+ years of experience as an Athletic Trainer.
+ Certification by the National Athletic Trainers’ Associates Board of Certification (NATABOC).
+ Eligible for State of Michigan Licensure.
+ 1+ years of experience working in a clinical setting
+ Experience with NextGen.
+ Experience with injuries to joints and/or hands and upper extremities.
+ Familiarity with state law and national regulations, athletic trainer guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures.
