Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) independently performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical staff services assignments duties such as Federal grants, fiscal analysis, program administration, budget planning, process analysis and improvement and continually provides consultative services to management and staff. The incumbent works in the Administrative Office Suite near the SSM I and the Branch Chief. The office is equipped with standard office tools and equipment including desk, ergonomic chair, phone with voice mail, computer, calculator, bookcases and file cabinets. A computer and copier are used frequently and there is a shared fax available. PPDB houses five scientific laboratories (Botany, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Nematology, and Seed Lab).
PPDB is located near public light rail transportation and offers free parking.
This position is eligible to participate in the CDFA’s telework program. Participation in telework is subject to the CDFA’s Telework Policy guidelines.
