Job Overview


The Associate Director of Membership & Professional Development will lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of NCODA programs, ensuring optimal resource allocation to drive organizational growth and productivity. This position requires a visionary leader capable of managing multiple projects and aligning program initiatives with NCODA's mission to enhance oncology care. The Associate Director will oversee a team of Program & Engagement Managers, coordinating cross-functional resources to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties


Program Development (50%)


  • Develop and manage the overall roadmap for new deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Propose new content development strategies based on sponsorship activity, membership demand, and NCODA strategy.
  • Create a strategy to best collaborate with clinical teams for human resource allocation to ensure timely project completion.
  • Develop and lead a team of project/program developers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Implement a continuous quality improvement plan for all published resources, ensuring they meet high standards.


Member Development (50%)


  • Provide oversight for external committees contributing to project development, ensuring qualified members, effective rotation, and high-quality work output.
  • Lead the strategy to build vibrant and engaged communities for NCODA's diverse member base (specifically APPs), ensuring that all members feel valued and included.
  • Collect and analyze data on resource participation and utilization to identify trends and measure effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with member and partner engagement teams to market programs and drive adoption of new content
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive leadership development strategy to cultivate future leaders within the oncology community.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to support community-building initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Qualifications


  • Advanced practice degree (PA or NP) or equivalent with 4+ years of professional experience, preferably in oncology clinical practice, pharma or medically integrated pharmacy.
  • Proven experience in project leadership, particularly in healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong process and results orientation.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with a servant-oriented leadership style.
  • Experience in resource planning for projects.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies, including understanding of healthcare standards and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.


Hours


Full time position; remote in U.S.


Organizational hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST with variable hours based on travel and meetings requirements.


Must be able to travel (up to ~10%); attend trade shows, academic meetings, and conferences.


Salary Range


$130,000 - $150,000 | Annual Salary
