East Texas Beef Processors is seeking a dependable and personable
Assistant Office Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, has a knack for organization, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, agricultural environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our customers-whether they’re dropping off livestock for processing or shopping in our retail meat store.- Greet and check in customers bringing livestock for custom processing
- Accurately record drop-off details and ensure required forms are completed
- Provide guidance on processing options and answer basic customer questions
- Assist walk-in customers in the meat store with product selection
- Handle transactions
- Organize product displays, ensuring a clean and inviting storefront
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Maintain customer records, invoices, and processing paperwork
- Schedule appointments and pickups
- Support general office organization and cleanliness
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or office admin preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, POS systems, etc.)
- Ability to multitask in a busy work environment
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Experience in the meat industry or agriculture
- Familiarity with cut sheets or custom processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
