Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven, organized, and personable

Assistant Director of Sales to support our Director of Private Events and Banquet Sales. This role is essential to the coordination, planning, and execution of private events, including weddings, corporate functions, social gatherings, and club-hosted events. Hospitality Experience is Required.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the Director of Sales in driving event and banquet bookings
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for all private event clients
  • Coordinate details with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure flawless event execution
  • Conduct site tours and assist with proposals and event follow-ups
  • Maintain detailed event records and assist with contracts and payments
  • Support marketing and promotion of private event offerings
  • Ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after the event
  • Assist in creating reports, tracking leads, and CRM updates
  • Work collaboratively across departments including Culinary, Membership, and Operations


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality sales, or related roles
  • High-level communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, team-first environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/event software (Caterease experience is a plus)
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
  • Passion for hospitality and attention to detail
