Salary Range $62,400 - $71,200*
The Assistant Merchandise Planner is responsible for driving Omni-Channel sales through influencing optimal merchandise allocation strategies and store cluster vendor/class assortment recommendations. This role will work closely with the Planners to achieve sales, profit, and inventory productivity objectives for merchandise categories, working in conjunction with one or more buying teams. The Assistant Merchandise Planner will support the Planning and merchant office with development and successful execution of topside assortment and buy plans. Manage replenishment orders in partnership with the replenishment team.
Responsibilities
Support planning and merchant office in topside assortment plans, pre-season, and in season management for stores and digital
Support Planning and merchant office in recommendations of style count and unit density
Assist Planners with Omni inventory to ensure alignment to sales trends
Analyze selling trends and adjust receipts and inventory levels as needed to drive business
Support the operational functions and execution of replenishment
Work through pre-season assortment planning and assortment market prep in partnership with merchant teams
Manage ad-hoc reporting and additional responsibilities as required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent retail experience in merchandise planning
Experience in buying, planning or allocation
Fundamental understanding of supply chain operations and inventory management
Financial Acumen
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word)
