Located in the small town of Port Aransas we cater to locals and tourists alike with an extremely high volume busy season during Spring Break and Summer months. Role/ Responsibilities


  • Lead employees and establish a positive, respectful work environment
  • Maintain professional relations with team, customers, and vendors
  • Schedule staff and assign daily responsibilities to maximize kitchen efficiency
  • Train staff on correct operating procedures
  • Manage physical inventory, including kitchen equipment, food items, and other supplies
  • Manage labor and food costs
  • Demonstrate understanding of proper food storage and product rotation procedures
  • Drive the daily production schedule
  • Expedite orders on the cook line
  • Assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas
  • Assist, inspect and supervise the sanitation and maintenance of equipment & cleaning of operational areas
  • Maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Assist with menu development and execution

Desired Qualifications


  • 2+ years experience in restaurant leadership
  • 5+ years restaurant industry experience (back of house preferred)
  • Experienced in full restaurant lifecycle and catering operations
  • Interested in West African cuisine and culture
  • Seeking growth opportunities
  • Available to work flexible hours


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $21.00 per hour


Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
