MDS Coordinator Job Description


Overview

The MDS Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of care provided to patients by overseeing the assessment and documentation processes in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with Medicare and HIPAA regulations.

  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to staff on MDS processes and documentation requirements.
