Job Summary:


The Assistant Manager supports daily field operations by coordinating crew schedules, monitoring Aspire timekeeping and GPS data, and ensuring service quality across job sites. This role bridges communication between crews, HR, and leadership, playing a key role in maintaining operational consistency, equipment accountability, and training follow-through. Track contract performance, renewal dates, and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support daily crew dispatch: confirm routes, property lists, and launch times.
  • Monitor GPS and Aspire to ensure proper clock-ins, check-ins, and job progress.
  • Conduct property visits and quality checks throughout the day.
  • Identify and report issues such as idling, off-route stops, or unvisited properties.
  • Submit Aspire time corrections and clock-in discrepancy reports to HR.
  • Ensure crew members have appropriate uniforms and working equipment.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new crew members on systems and processes.
  • Track and report on field incidents, near misses, or equipment issues.
  • Coordinate closely with the HR department on performance and conduct concerns.
  • Maintain organized records of field visits, training completions, and compliance tasks.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


  • ≥90% on-time crew launch rate
  • All clock-in/GPS issues addressed within 24-48 hours
  • Field inspections completed daily with reports submitted weekly
  • Weekly uniform and project material audits completed on time
  • Reduction in unapproved stops and idle time
  • 80% of new hires trained within 90 days of start


Required Qualifications:


  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping, crew leadership, or operations support
  • Proficiency in or willingness to learn Aspire software
  • Strong observational skills and ability to enforce standards
  • Good communicator who can de-escalate field issues professionally
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Valid Florida driver�s license required
