Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team! The position workdays are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and requires some daily travel to properties throughout the Treasure Valley (primarily in Boise/Meridian areas). OnPoint Property Management is a full-service property management company specializing in multi-family dwellings. Our properties span the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley areas. • Documenting daily time and mileage per property.
  
• Daily travel throughout the Treasure Valley, as needed (mileage paid).
  
• Checking in every morning with the property manager to go over assignments for the day.
  
• Responding to & completing daily work orders as assigned, detailing preformed work.
  
• Troubleshooting and repair of appliances, plumbing, electrical, light HVAC issues, etc.
  
• Interior repairs- Sheetrock work, fitting doors, replacing shelves/cabinet faces, replacing hardware.
  
• Completing unit turnovers upon move out to prepare for upcoming occupancy.
  
• Preform scheduled unit inspections to complete preventative maintenance issues to help eliminate larger repairs later in time.
  
• Lifting/moving items in excess of 50 lbs or more when needed.
  
• Attend scheduled meetings as necessary.
  
• Any additional maintenance responsibilities.
  
• Abide by all fair housing laws.
  
• On call rotation every 5-6 weeks.
  

• Maintenance experience (preferred).
  
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, light appliance repair, & light HVAC repair
  
• Superb customer service skills possessing a high level of professionalism
  
• Excellent time management skills
  
• Organization and multi-tasking abilities
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Ability to follow direction and be self sufficient
  
• A valid Drivers license
