Apartment Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities:


If you're skilled in repairs, troubleshooting, and have a knack for fixing things, our maintenance tech position could be right up your alley!


As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities include:


· Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance


· Resolving maintenance issues in the area of minor electrical, plumbing, construction, painting, appliance repair & general maintenance repairs


· Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements


· Preserving the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and grounds maintenance


· Providing residents with outstanding customer service


· Ensure the workplace meets safety standards and adheres to health and safety regulations and company policies


· Participate in safety training as required


· Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after hour emergencies


What You Bring to Us:


· High School diploma or equivalent


· Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades


· General knowledge of tools


· Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation


· The ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently


· Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies and valid driver’s license


· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


· A sharp professional appearance


· Ability to regularly walk, climb, kneel, crouch and stand for long periods


· Ability to work outside and regularly exposed to all weather elements including extreme cold or heat, rain, sleet and snow

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call rotation
