Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on both mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires expertise in various technical skills, including precision measuring instruments. The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft through thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance.


Responsibilities


  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using root cause analysis techniques
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and modifications
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, ammeters, and ohmmeters
  • Conduct assembly and fabrication tasks for aircraft components
  • Repair or replace defective parts using sheet metal techniques
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and safety protocols


Experience


  • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance is essential
  • Familiarity with avionics systems and heavy lifting requirements
  • Previous military experience related to aviation mechanics is advantageous
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is required

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
