St. Peters/Best Friends Pet Hotel
Our well-established, fun, busy pet hotel is hiring animal lovers to join our team. We are seeking bright, energetic, individuals who enjoy caring for pets and pay close attention to detail. Our den representative in St. Peters is interested in speaking with you!
We offer paid positions and our full-time team members have access to benefits which include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance and PTO.
We ask that you are available to work weekends and/or holidays, if needed.
-Possess a love of animals
-Display a professional manner at all times
-Lift/carry 40 pounds or more, if needed
-Able to stand/walk easily for shift
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Able to work on a computer system
-Able to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and/or animal waste.
-Welcomes both human clients and pet guests
-Can correctly identify animal body language/behavior
-Follows safe handling procedures
-Registering pet guests while providing excellent customer service
-Escorts and retrieves pets to and from their rooms
-Answers phone calls and in-house client questions effectively
-Can work both individually and as a team player while performing duties
-Contributes in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
-Communication with clients, guests, management and caretakers
-High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Some college preferred
-At least 1 year of professional animal experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
