- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student development.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs, including special education requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes respect and responsibility among students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Strong classroom management abilities to maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
- Knowledge of first aid practices to ensure student safety.
- Experience in special education or working with diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
- Proficient in teaching methodologies with a background in early childhood education preferred.
- Experience working with children through roles such as tutoring, daycare, babysitting, or camp counseling.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles.
