The Student Workers for Academic Advising provide polite quality service to all individuals including students, staff, faculty and guests.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a frontline resource for Academic Advising
- Support office initiatives; to include event promotion and program support
- Communicate, and uphold, policies and procedures
- Perform opening and closing duties of physical office (turn on lights and copier and etc.)
- Fulfill office functions: answer phones, respond to emails, distribute mail, tidy office space, data entry, copying and filing
- Follow directions and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Maintain work/attendance records
- Other duties as assigned
The student hired for this position must be available to start in August with the potential to continue throughout the spring and summer terms.
