Advanced Practice Provider - Neurosurgery


Fort Worth, TX | Schedule: Full-Time


Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Neurosurgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated group of neurosurgeons and orthopedic residents at a Level I Trauma Center, providing expert neurological and spine care across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in delivering comprehensive neurosurgical care in inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings
  • Perform medical histories, physical exams, and order/interprets lab and imaging tests
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and care plans
  • Assist surgeons with cranial and spinal cases in the operating room
  • Manage spine patients in collaboration with orthopedic residents
  • Perform bedside interventions under physician supervision, including:
  • Placement of intracranial pressure monitors
  • External ventricular drains
  • Lumbar drains
  • Follow established hospital protocols and collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required

Qualifications:


Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:


  • Must have current Texas Physician Assistant license or Texas APRN license (AGACNP/ACNP) with RNFA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification


Required Education and Experience:


  • Master�s or Doctoral Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing OR Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program


Preferred Education and Experience:


  • 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
