Position Summary Information
The Admissions Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and increasing the enrollment of high quality domestic students. This position will be assigned duties both on and off campus and will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Recruitment. The successful candidate will be expected to identify and implement effective recruitment strategies which may include participating in school presentations and fairs, scheduling appointments with prospective students, families, and guidance counselors, and creating a network of professional contacts. Effectiveness will be evaluated through weekly tracking and reporting of productivity as well as monthly evaluation.
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution, 1 yr customer service experience preferred. Preference will be given to Delta State University graduates; successful marketing/sales background and computer literacy; commitment to collaborative planning and teamwork; ability to work evenings, weekends and overnight travel; attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; excellent telephone skills; high energy level; must be a self-starter and highly motivated; high standards of ethics and integrity; outstanding communication and public speaking skills; self-disciplined and capable of working independently and in team settings. A valid driver’s license is required.
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution and valid driver’s license.
Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year customer service experience.
