Teaching online graduate-level courses in Biomedical Engineering. This includes courses associated with the Clinical Immersion in Medical Device Design graduate certificate, as well as the Health Care Technologies Management program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver instruction for up to two 3-credit graduate-level online courses in Biomedical Engineering per semester, develop course syllabi and evaluation criteria, and prepare and deliver online lectures tailored to graduate engineering students.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent. The candidate must have a degree in Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent) at or higher than the course level being taught. Professional experience in educating or practicing engineering will be considered in lieu of a higher degree. Experience in clinical engineering and/or the medical device industry is highly valued. Familiarity with the Marquette Engineering curriculum. Ability to align instruction with learning outcomes and student experience from previous years.
