Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Caribbean, Inc. one of the companies in Puerto Rico dedicated to the distribution of vehicles and parts is seeking for a position of:
Register & revise accounting transactions to ensure Financial Information are accurate for the Closing Reports. Applies accounting principles to analyze financial information and provide explanation according with budget and previous years.
- Execute GL entries and accounts reconciliations based on accounting principles
- Conduct month-end and year-end close process.
- Conduct bi-annual parts physical inventory
- Support auditing activities
- Account reconciliations and prepare adjustment or reclassification journal entries
- Keep up with financial policies, regulations, and legislation
- Prepare tax reports and file the necessary tax forms at the federal, state and local levels
- Monitor and review accounting procedures for effectiveness, completeness and accuracy
- 3+ years of experience
- BBA in Accounting
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Knowledge in SAP System (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
