Education:


  • Master�s degree in statistics or related field
  • Minimum of 18 graduate credits in statistics or related field


Travel: Occasional travel throughout U.S. and overseas may be required.


Salary: 110K+


Overview: Has experience working with quantitative and qualitative data, conducting statistical analysis of the data, and writing technical reports to present findings. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented and have demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis independently. Experience creating and administering survey reports is also needed. Knowledge of educational theory and methodology with a special emphasis on academic program evaluation and survey construction and management is highly desired.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Ability to design, develop, and administer surveys via web-based tools.
  • Proficiency working with data sets to draw conclusions.
  • Experience with education program evaluation
  • Experience with spreadsheets to organize and clean data.
  • Experience using statistical software to conduct analyses.
  • Experience writing technical reports in a clear and concise manner in language understood by the recipient.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to present data to various audiences.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience teaching statistics or related field
  • Understanding of adult learning theory


Job Summary:


  • Creates and revises survey instruments to ensure proper data are collected.
  • Researches, designs, develops, and administers student surveys using computer-based/web-based instruments.
  • Designs and employs queries to retrieve required results from survey databases.
  • Uses knowledge of computer software to ensure error-free data that can be entered for analysis of products using statistical packages for social science.
  • Analyzes and interprets collected data utilizing sound application of analytical concepts and statistical techniques
  • Analyzes survey results using appropriate software and prepares detailed quantitative and qualitative evaluation reports of each course and a comprehensive year-end evaluation of all courses.
  • Prepares interpretive material in the form of graphs, diagrams, and charts for inclusion in assessment reports.
  • Prepares reports that reflect accepted principles of evaluation.
  • Writes reports from survey results in a clear, logical manner easily understood by intended audience.
  • Collects, assembles, and compiles data from various computer programs for presentation to internal stakeholders or publication.
  • Reviews databases on an ongoing basis to reflect latest changes to curriculum and provides recommendations to ensure surveys are kept current with changes to curriculum.
  • Makes suggestions and recommendations for changes to enhance future academic courses and programs.
  • Coordinates projects with other office staff, ensuring data requested is appropriately prepared.
  • Plans and coordinates the development and maintenance of various web-based reports.
  • Advises and assists staff in the development, coordination, administration, and analysis of internal survey instruments.
  • Screens surveys for appropriateness and recommends methods for administration.
  • Assist with articulation agreements and MOA�s with other academic and higher education organizations.
  • Assist with program self-study and higher education accreditation reports
