POSITION DESCRIPTION

Aan Hit Coordinator

Location: Juneau

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Grade(s): 10-11 ($33.29 - 41.21+ DOE)

Purpose: The Aan Hit Coordinator manages daily operations to ensure a high-quality customer experience, efficient service, and financial performance. This role involves overseeing staff, handling financial reporting, and maintaining operational standards.

Essential Functions. An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Use financial reporting tools for daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
  
• Process and perform bank deposits, including business monies and customer checks, ensuring that records are kept securely.
  
• Handle all cash accurately and safely.
  
• Uphold and promote high customer service standards, respond to customer needs and handle complaints with professionalism and tact.
  
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage schedules.
  
• Foster a professional, friendly, and efficient work environment.
  
• Provide product information and recommendations to enhance the Aan Hit shopping experience.
  
• Conduct staff training, performance reviews, ongoing coaching, and address staff performance and disciplinary issues.
  
• Lead inventory management in collaboration with Procurement team and Hospitality�s Inventory Specialist.
  
• Ensure all products are received, unpacked and stocked.
  
• Manage Artist Table program-processing applications and coordinating with artists reserving tables (approximately 15% of time).
  
• Supervise front-of-house operations including customer service and merchandising.
  
• Contribute ideas to improve operational flow and maintain standards for customer service and in-store marketing.
  
• Proactively solve problems and make decisions benefiting the facility.
  
• Maintain a safe enviroment for customers and staff.
  
• Be available for on-call situations to resolve issues or fill in, including special events, as needed.
  
• Ensure sales floor and displays are clean, organized and visually appealing.
  
• Ensure store opening and closing procedures are followed daily, including cash handling procedures and location security checks.
  
• Work closely with all team members at the Aan Hit location ensuring smooth store operations..
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (education, experience, skills):

• Associate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  
• Two (2) years� related experience in a retail environment
  
• Point of sales (POS) experience.
