A&P AIRCRAFT MECHANIC

EXPECTATIONS

·Perform necessary inspections and replace parts in accordance with the Federal Air Regulations.

·Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on aircraft, including engines and landing gear.

·Keep work area clean and compliant with safety standards.

·Properly tag and store aircraft parts and pieces.

·Demonstrate knowledge of tools and equipment needed to perform jobs.

·Ability to communicate clearly with supervisor, mechanics, pilots and office staff.

·Communicate with customers respectfully and professionally.

·Maintain high quality service standards.

·Read and interpret maintenance manuals or other technical data necessary for maintenance or repair on aircraft.

·Replace and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings, fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.

·Disassemble and inspect parts for wear or other defects.

·Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.

·Willing to participate in post maintenance flights.

DESIRED

·Maintenance experience on fixed wing, rotor wing, piston, turbo prop and jet aircraft fleet types being maintained or modified.

·Requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time.

·Requires climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.

·Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

REQUIREMENTS

·Valid and current FAA mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

·High School Diploma/GED

·Current and valid driver’s license

·Ability to pass drug test pre-employment and during random drug screenings.
