Support the manufacturing and production functions through the movement of material. Moving raw material and finished product with various types of equipment.
· Previous hi-lo experience required
· Computer and scanner experience
· Assist with loading and unloading trucks
· Documenting pallet counts as it pertains to item numbers
· Organize shipping racks according to PO number
· Log incoming material
· Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
· Function as member of a work team, identify safety and process improvements within the facility
· Adhere to all safety specifications including stacking heights, speed limits, signage, etc.
· Maintain proper housekeeping and are clean up
· High school diploma or GED
· Ability to manage time and resources effectively
· Ability to stay focused and be productive despite interruptions
· Work effectively in a team environment
· Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
· Ability to frequently lift or move up to 30lbs and occasionally as much as 75lbs
· Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
· Seasonal climate
· Moderate noise level
